SEE WHO’S PROVIDING THE SPARK FOR LES ETINCELLES?
Les Etincelles, French for spark, is a high-end hotel group managing a collection of hotels, chalets and residences in the Alps with the guarantee of abundant snow during the winter season and promoting a new way of life in the mountains all year round. We are currently operating in 8 high-altitude ski resorts such as Tignes, Val d’Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs, La Rosière, L’Alpe d’Huez, Val Thorens and Les 2 Alpes,
Our project was officially launched in September 2021 with Tignes’ very own former freeride-ski-champion-turned-racecar-driver Guerlain Chicherit, alongside three associates Nicolas Chatillon, Thibault de Saint Martin and Arnaud Viotte, to set a new benchmark for high-end hotels and sustainable hospitality in the high mountains.
OUR SIGNATURE SERVICE
Les Etincelles breathes a new life into the high-mountain leisure experience thanks to its dedicated teams and bespoke service while fostering a creative environment and setting up new projects with sustainability in mind. Our collection includes 16 hotels, 21 Carte Blanche chalets and 10 residences.
OUR OFFER
Les Etincelles welcomes its guests in premium accommodation thought and designed by renowned architects: Take a refreshing break at the VoulezVous hotel in Tignes le Lac, a 5* hotel curated to offer a fulfilling (re)creative holiday, including music events, karaoke boxes, and its refined cuisine bringing together Transalpine specialities and Savoie favourites. Or get swayed by the intimate and soothing setting of the Tetras Lodge in Tignes-Les-Brévières for a taste of Savoie authenticity.
The CARTE BLANCHE chalets are part of the group’s luxury brand designed to explore mountain life without limits and all reimagined to meet contemporary aspirations.
Les Etincelles is constantly thriving to meet the needs of our guests and set the perfect environment for dream holidays. On this note, we launched our first cultural event in the Alps, a music festival running for 20 weeks during the winter season with exclusive concerts from international artists in a brand new 1,200-people venue.
A sustainable approach
The group’s development is carefully thought out to foster a healthy economy in the mountains thanks to dozens of environmentally friendly and socially-forward projects including initiatives to promote renewable energies, the use of wood pellet boilers, solar panels, high-efficiency heat pumps, very low-emission constructions, durable design in harmony with the local environment and the natural elements (weather, snow,…). We support local sourcing of talents and produce, removing single-use plastics and recycling used waters…ambitions shared by the founders who see the need to meet tomorrow’s challenges with a dynamic approach of CSR (corporate social responsibility) and concrete measures with solidarity in mind.
A sustainable employer
We go above and beyond to provide our employees with high-standard accommodation nearby, and offer training programs and hotel and catering management courses to promote the local industry, hospitality and restaurants supporting local know-how…We also set ambitious goals for all our locations and a strong CSR and job creation drive.
A group that supplies many jobs for the local community.
The company continues to grow and looks to do so alongside 50 to 150 more permanent collaborators and 500 to 2000 seasonal workers all accommodated close to their work location with carefully thought-out living conditions.
