Perched at 2,100 metres above sea level in the heart of the Village Montana, Hotel L’Aigle du Montana is an intimate stone-and-wood chalet, recently renovated, featuring 21 charming rooms. With their exposed beams and warm atmosphere, they offer a true alpine cocoon blending authenticity with contemporary comfort.
Ideally located just steps from the slopes, the hotel enjoys a privileged position in the heart of the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area. From the rooms, the views open onto either the alpine peaks or the resort, providing a breathtaking backdrop throughout your stay.
After a day on the slopes, the wellness area invites you to unwind with its heated swimming pool and sauna, offering a moment of relaxation and rejuvenation. You can also enjoy the Village Montana spas, offering treatments, massages and wellness experiences by Sothys or Valmont.
Culinary experiences at the Village Montana are varied, with several restaurants offering traditional, bistronomic and gastronomic cuisine, mountain specialities, as well as an immersive cooking show experience.
In the evening, the atmosphere continues in the Village Montana bars, for warm and convivial moments.

It features a double bed (or twin beds on request), a desk, and a bathroom with either a shower or a bathtub. The private balcony opens onto the mountains, creating a pleasant sense of space.

The customer reviews
A cozy, quiet hotel with excellent service. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. While the breakfast was nice quality, the lack of daily variety was a downside. Nice sauna and indoor pool. You can buy a ski pass at the reception, which is very nice, especially when weather condition is hard to predict.
The bad:
Location: The hotel is difficult to find, especially at night, due to a complete lack of signage. It is located on a hill, removed from the city bars and restaurants (about 10 minutes away). While the distance is short, the walk back is strenuous because you have to go up hill.
Parking: The parking area is incredibly tight. There are only 6-7 spaces, and the layout is cramped. We drove a Peugeot 2008 and struggled to maneuver in and out of the spots.
Facilities: The ski room is too small; with just two couples inside, it felt overcrowded. There is almost no storage space—barely enough for two snowboards and boots, with no hooks for helmets or gloves. Similarly, the sauna and pool area feel very small if anyone else is using them.
Amenities: There is no proper bar on-site (serving only hot/soft drinks). For full amenities like a bar, outdoor pool, or Jacuzzi, you must go to the sister hotel. While it is only a 1-2 minute walk, this is inconvenient, especially at night.
Restaurants of the sister hotel are overpriced and just bad. We tried both: La Chaumière and La Place and both were awful.
Ski Access: This is not a true ski-in/out hotel. You must walk at least 5 minutes to reach a small slope leading to the main lifts area. The return trip also requires a 5-minute walk back from the nearest slope.

Reception opening hours
The hotel reception is open every day from 7 am to 10 pm. Outside these hours, you can go to the reception of the Village Montana hotel, just a few metres away.

The hotel is located just 50 meters from the slopes
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in the rate and is served every morning from 7 am to 10 am.
Half-board
The half-board offer includes breakfast served between 7 am and 10 am, and dinner served between 7 pm and 9:30 pm in one of the Village Montana restaurants.
Car park
Parking is available in the hotel's covered car park, at a cost of €22/day per vehicle. Book with our reception team before your arrival as we have limited availability.
Pets
Pets are welcome at the hotel for an additional fee of €20 per day per pet. Let us know during your booking so we can arrange this for you.
