Home away from home, in the heart of the mountains
An iconic hotel in Tignes le Lac, Les Campanules 4* has long cultivated a warm and authentic spirit. Perched at 2,100 metres altitude, facing the Tignes lake and the Grande Motte glacier, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views, to be enjoyed from the south-facing terrace, the heated outdoor pool, or from select rooms opening onto the peaks.
Its prime location, just steps from the ski lifts and the ski school, makes it the perfect starting point to fully enjoy the Tignes – Val d’Isère ski area and its 300 km of slopes.
The rooms, spread over several floors, combine modern comfort with alpine charm. Wood, natural materials and warm touches create restful spaces, ideal for couples, families or groups of friends after a day in the mountains.
After a day on the slopes, the spa welcomes you for a well-deserved moment of relaxation. Take a dip in the heated outdoor pool facing the peaks, release tension in the sauna or hammam, and extend the experience with a selection of bespoke treatments and massages.
In the evening, Le Chalet restaurant invites you to enjoy refined, gourmet cuisine crafted from fresh, seasonal ingredients, served in a warm and convivial atmosphere. The perfect way to end the day, overlooking the snow-covered peaks.

The customer reviews
Our bed was quite honestly a sweat box with a plastic undersheet/mattress protector, neither myself or my wife slept well due to overheating.
Small issues like dirty glasses presumably from someone else’s room and an old bed being left outside our room wasnt a particularly professional or premium touch.
On a plus the front of house and restaurant staff were fantastic, always helpful and accommodating. The food was pleasant, both breakfast and dinner – but we found the menu lacking variety after a few evening meals it became repetitive choosing from a small menu that didnt change, so this could do with being changed more regularly. Children’s meals were of good standard and plentiful, and the chefs happy to mix and match to please the little ones.
Pool and spa area were welcome after a day on the slopes. Location fantastic but rear steps needed clearing as were treacherous with the freeze thaw – this was done on our last day I believe.
Good relaxing space in the lounge/bar with childrens games etc.
In all a great trip, would we return ? 50/50 for me. I believe this place could be great with some minor upgrades and attention to basic details one would expect from a four star hotel, the location and front of house/restaurant staff may swing a return but we wouldnt stay in a quad mezzanine again.
Merci merci merci.
