HELICOPTER RIDE
Fly to dizzy new heights and get a unique perspective of the mountains. Jump aboard and fly over the mountain tops, glaciers and the surrounding nature.
Helicopter rides are organised every day (weather permitting) with several local operators.
ICE DIVING
Explore the wonderful Tignes Lake with a journey into its silent subaquatic world. Find solace in the mysterious standstill while admiring the spectacle of air bubbles, sunrays and moonlight refracting through the ice.
This experience is open to beginners and confirmed divers and is guided by a certified instructor.
VAL D’ISÈRE LEISURE CENTRE
The comprehensive leisure centre comprises 4 zones to cater to all your needs: Beach World, Spa World, Sports World and Well-Being World.
Beach World is a 800m2 aquatic area harmoniously designed with wood, stone and glass, channelling the mountain’s light and energy.
Start afresh with a session in the 250 m2 Spa World with a selection of saunas, hammams, hot tubs and wooden open-air relaxing areas.
Enhance your downtime and come relax at the Well-Being World. For this popular location, we suggest booking ahead for any massages and treatments.
SNOW TUBING
A perfect activity for families and children of all ages.
Take the escalator to the top and slide down the slopes (maximum speed 45km/h).
TIGNESPACE
The most innovative sports complex in the Alps, just a stone’s throw away from the Lagoon, is a 3,500m2 centre made of several sports zones: racket or team sports, climbing walls, track and field, fitness, golf simulator… including a 150m2 workspace for meetings.
The Lagoon centre is right in the heart of Tignes le Lac and includes a 25m swimming pool paired with a relaxing area and fun slide. The centre also includes a wellness area with saunas, hammams and hot tubs together with a gym and fitness room.
Bun J Ride
Do you feel like an activity to fill up with adrenaline? Launch yourself from a 35m ramp and throw yourself into a 40m void. It sounds like a bad idea, but don’t worry: you’re attached to two bungee cords that allow you to reach the snow safely once you’ve made your impressive jump.
This is the perfect opportunity to test your last spin. With the chairlift passing right by the jump, don’t forget to put on your best smile!
DOG SLEIGH
After a very short initiation, you’ll soon find yourself expertly taking the reins of your own sleigh led by adorable huskies and exploring cross-country through the most beautiful alpine forests.
And if you just want to sit back and enjoy the view, take a seat and let the guide do all the work! This activity is very popular with our chalet guests in winter (December to April), so we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance with the chalet reception to find out about our sessions reserved for chalet guests.
GLACIER BY NIGHT
Spend an evening up on the Grande Motte glacier for the chance to catch a unique nighttime perspective on the valley. A refined menu awaits 3,032 m high for you to dine right under the stars, before taking Europe’s longest night ski ride down the mountain back to your chalet.
The way up is organised by cable car.
SNOW BIKE
Brush through the snow at the wheel or on the passenger seat as you ride up to the Bellevarde or Sache mountains tops. The very intuitive snow bikes are easy to manoeuvre after a short initiation and you will be scooting off to explore the mountains and the valley in no time.
Group rides are available with an aperitif in the Ice bar with its breathtaking panorama of the Mont Blanc.
PARAGLIDING
Tignes – Val d’Isère is a dream spot to go paragliding or even try for the first time, thanks to its many clubs offering paragliding baptisms.
Explore the avian territory of local birds of prey, a chance to experience unique flying sensations as you glide effortlessly in tandem with certified instructors to get the best perspective of the mountain.
Bobsleigh
Take off on the Olympic Bobsleigh track in La Plagne. Choose your ride: Bob Raft, Speed Luge, Bob racing, will you beat the record of 134 km/h by racing down the 1.5km, 19 turns and 124 m of difference in altitude of the only Bobsleigh track in France.
