Towering over the resort, the very in-demand village to which Courchevel owes its prestigious international reputation provides quick access to the peaks. This includes the Saulire run at 2738m, from where skiers can easily access the legendary Grand Couloir and explore further in the vast 3 Vallées ski area with 600 km of connected runs.

Courchevel is part of the world’s largest ski area, les 3 Vallées which includes many classic runs, snowparks and more scenic cross-country routes. The ski domain is home to 7 resorts with 600 km of connected runs, 85% of which are above 1800m ensuring great snow and ski experience. The resort is accessible for all ages and levels with 180 green/blue slopes and over 140 more demanding red/black pistes.

Easy Rider areas allow everyone to ski in complete safety, with wide, gentle slopes perfect for children and beginners. The resort also sports many more picturesque slopes inviting skiers to have fun at their own pace alongside the family-friendly snow park and zip lines, providing entertainment for the whole family.

How to get to Courchevel

By train

The greener way to reach the Alps.

  • Travel directly to the Moûtiers TGV train station with direct lines from Paris, Grenoble or Lyon or internationally with Eurostar and Thalys from London, Brussels, Amsterdam or Rotterdam.
  • Access  Courchevel by taxi, direct bus service or car (between 30 min and 1 hour) from the Moûtiers Train Station. Contact our team if you wish to book a transfer shuttle service.

By car

From Paris (669 km)

Travel on the A6 motorway until Lyon before switching to the A43/E70 before taking the A430 and N90 to Moûtiers. Make the final ascent to Courchevel on the D915.

By flight
