Free skiing for under-8s!
New this season! Families will be pleased to learn that children under eight now ski for free in the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, while those between 8 and 18 benefit from reduced prices.

First Tracks
A unique experience for ski lovers, who can now be the first to ski down the untouched ski area. The only condition is that you have to get up early! Skiers will join the piste patrol before the slopes open and enjoy 45 minutes on the freshly groomed Palafour and Tovières pistes.

Moutain Shaker is back!
Mountain Shaker is back for a second edition from 10 to 18 March 2023. This action-packed week will feature 3 major events, including the Slopestyle World Cup (including the French Freeride Series, an indoor skatepark, rider demos and live music). Get ready for performances, shows galore, parties, and stylish skiing. Big thrills guaranteed!
LA PLAGNE
“Riders’ nation,” the new snowpark for everyone
The historic snowpark in Belle Plagne is moving to the Dos Rond sector in Montchavin-Les Coches. A fun spot adapted to all abilities, from beginner to expert, with areas graded on experience and informational totems marking out the different levels. The space also caters to spectators, who can enjoy a front-row seat to the show!
VAL D’ISERE
Team-Rider courses
In Val d’Isère, children over ten with a Bronze Star badge will be able to discover the team-rider group courses offered by the ESF this winter. Through these new classes, young skiers will discover the mountain environment and the world of freestyle skiing across three levels. By signing up to “Team Rider, young athletes can choose a programme to suit them, including skiing, piste-border skiing, snowpark, and boardercross. Heaps of fun with no competition, and a way to improve without pressure and in total safety!

VAL THORENS
Le Board, a new sports and culture centre
Christened Le Board in reference to its snowboard-shaped roof, the brand-new sports and culture centre in Val Thorens is finally opening in December after two years of major renovation works! The space around the building and on the rooftop spans more than 34,500ft.² with breathtaking views over the ski area, and can host up to 3,000 people for events such as concerts, Christmas markets, and open-air cinemas. The interior boasts an impressive 148,000ft.² of space devoted to sports and waterparks as well as B2B and public events. Located in the heart of Val Thorens, the new sports centre has dreamed big, with a waterpark area spanning 10,700ft.² featuring a fun pool with waterfalls, underwater seats, massage jets, whirlpool beds and two 20m swimming lanes, a gym, a 14,900 ft.² arena, a giant fun park, a conference space with a 446-seat amphitheatre, and a new bus station… In short, Le Board has undeniably become the perfect place to have fun and enjoy different indoor sporting activities!
