Le Levanna Hotel

Spring signals the beginning of longer and warmer days but also the end of the winter ski season. However, with six weeks of fun left, this time is the perfect opportunity to indulge in a final mountain getaway with many spring activities on offer.

Ski and snow sports enthusiasts have just a few weeks left to enjoy the abundant snow covering the high-altitude resorts and take advantage of end-of-season deals.

We have prepared a selection of top resorts in the Alps to make the most of your spring mountain vacation.

Finish the ski season with a spark!

The end of the ski season in the Alps is always a popular event for many holidaymakers who enjoy the long days and the wildlife.

The charming region of Savoie in the Alps is home to some of the best ski resorts in the world. With a vast ski area located above 2000m, resorts such as Tignes, Val d’Isère, La Plagne and Les Arcs offer very sought-after skiing conditions. Whether you are an experienced skier or a beginner, you will find slopes adapted to all levels with quality snow cover leading right up to May.

Tignes, which culminates at 3456 meters

All the resorts go all out to put on a show during those last weeks of the season with a flurry of festivals and cultural activities.

Tignes delights skiers thanks to the quality of its high-altitude ski area, peaking at 3,456 metres. Thanks to its Grande Motte glacier, the resort allows holidaymakers to ski in excellent conditions in one of the largest in the world, with 300 kilometres of marked runs and 154 lifts. Snow conditions are excellent, with an average of 300 centimetres of snow throughout the year. The resort also offers plenty of off-piste skiing and snowboarding opportunities for more experienced skiers, supervised by ESF ski instructors, who always give the best advice, including reaching the best high-altitude restaurants. The resort also enjoys a good reputation for après-ski pleasures with warm restaurants and animated bars to party, not forgetting its brand new concert/club hall, the Strike, with its international line-up.

There are a number of premium hotels ideally located at the bottom of the slopes in Tignes 2100: Le Village Montana is a majestic 4* hotel with a wide choice of rooms for family comfort and three restaurants to vary the culinary options as well as a fully equipped spa with an outdoor pool.

Le Levanna, a 4* chalet-hotel with authentic wooden charm and offers an equally warm and intimate setting with a wonderful view of the Tignes lake, several restaurants and a lovely terrace overlooking the slopes.
