The resort is perfectly adapted for family holidays with many types of activities to keep your young ones entertained, including the Colorado sleigh, a 1,500 m run for beginners or the Snake Gliss for all to enjoy a fun ride.

Belle Plagne

Belle Plagne offers a unique panorama over the most beautiful natural landscapes. Nested in the quiet village, this prime spot with south-facing slopes is a delight for pedestrians to walk around safely while the cars are ushered into indoor car parks away from the action. The resort is a breeze to roam around and most of your favourite restaurants, bars and shops are accessible on foot or on ski.

The dream-like village of Belle Plagne displays all the charm and authenticity of mountain architecture, painting a harmonious picture-postcard scenery of wood and stone. A car-free haven to visit along its 27 km of pedestrian footpaths and trails with the added comfort of the cable-car lift taking you up to Belle Côte.

Tradition with a great variety

It was during their holidays in La Plagne, that the managers of the Mouflon fell in love with its mountains and wanted to honour the local gastronomy. The restaurant’s own grocery store also has local products (Cured sausages and Savoy wines) and meals to take away, while Le Matafan or Le Petit Comptoir provide some tasty vegetarian options.

Gastronomy

La Plagne has plenty more fine locations with high-end cuisine. to choose from. Enjoy a tasting menu at the Union, with a menu prepared by the Michelin-star chef serving wonderful local dishes in a relaxing and intimate setting, or at the Au Coin du Feu, all with particular attention to the products selected.

Pizzas

Family-friendly tables or to enjoy with friends in a traditional setting at La Cantine or a little corner of Italy for authentic and creative pizzas at Ti & Yu.

HOW TO GET TO LA PLAGNE

By car

From Chambéry – Albertville, follow the A43 and A430, the dual carriageway up to Moûtiers before taking the N90 to Bourg-St-Maurice. Finally and the D220 in Aime following signs for La Plagne.

By train

Easy and environmentally friendly, the train is a breeze of an option.

– Travel directly to the Aime-La-Plagne SNCF train station
– Access La Plagne by taxi, direct bus service or car (approximately 45 minutes).

Tips for shuttle connection: To get to La Plagne by bus, book your ticket on https://billet.vente-bellesavoieexpress.fr/en# or https://www.altibus.com/en/ or book at the train station as you exit your train. For the return journey, we recommend booking a minimum of 48h in advance, using the terminals in the information centres of Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte or Belle Plagne.
